Steam Support will not request your Steam account password for any reason, nor will you ever be asked to enter your Steam account password into a website form.
Once your CD Key has been registered to your Steam Account no one else will be able to register it without contacting Steam Support and providing a scan or digital photo of the CD Key and a copy of the recent purchase receipt.
