Steam Support will not request your Steam account password for any reason, nor will you ever be asked to enter your Steam account password into a website form. First, you will need to locate the English subtitle file. This file can be found at: By Default: C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\[your username]\half-life 2\hl2\resource\closecaption_English.txt With custom installations: [Steam installation directory]\SteamApps\[your username]\half-life 2\hl2\resource\closecaption_English.txt Once you have found the closecaption_English.txt file, you may translate the captions into the language of your choice. When you are done, save the file as "closecaption_[name of language].txt" under the /resource/ folder. To enable the new language subtitles while in-game, enter the console and set the cvar "cc_lang" to the name of the language you specified when saving the close caption text file. |
