Steam Support will not request your Steam account password for any reason, nor will you ever be asked to enter your Steam account password into a website form.
If you are encountering difficulty refreshing the server list, please observe the following process to configure your hardware:
- Go to the Start button
- Select "Run..."
- At the command prompt, type telnet 192.168.1.1
- Upon arriving at the Telnet prompt, enter your username and password (by default, your username and password will both be "admin")
- Once you are logged in, enter the following commands:
- modify nbsize maxipsess 512
- modify nat global udptimeout 10
- commit
- reboot
- Close the Telnet session and log back into Steam
