Steam Support will not request your Steam account password for any reason, nor will you ever be asked to enter your Steam account password into a website form. To ensure compliance with the release of VAC 2.0, we are turning off VAC for GoldSrc servers which have not been updated recently. If your stand-alone dedicated server has not been updated using the hlds_updatetool recently, you will need to run the update to ensure your server is VAC-secured. Please see the Installing and updating a Dedicated Server topic if you would like instructions for using the hlds_updatetool. Your server will still be available if you do not update, however, it will not display as a VAC-secured server until the update tool is run. |
