Installing Third Party Mods:no

Hvis du har en Half-Life mod installert før du har installert Steam, Steam vil automatisk konvertere og installere spillet for deg.

Det vil da bli tilgjenglig i Steam "My Games" liste under "Third Party Games."

NB: ALLE TREDJEPARTS SPILL FOR HALF-LIFE 1 BLIR INSTALLERT UNDER "HALF-LIFE".

Så for eksempel, det vil bli mapper (Bare noen eksempel navn):

• C:\Steam\SteamApps\<konto>\half-life\action
• C:\Steam\SteamApps\<konto>\half-life\aghl
• C:\Steam\SteamApps\<konto>\half-life\bg
• C:\Steam\SteamApps\<konto>\half-life\biglolly
• C:\Steam\SteamApps\<konto>\half-life\firearms
• C:\Steam\SteamApps\<konto>\half-life\underworld
• C:\Steam\SteamApps\<konto>\half-life\valve

Hvis du vil legge til en Half-Life mod etter installering av Steam, må legge den i Steam\SteamApps\<konto>\Half-Life mappen.

For Half-Life 2 mods, må du installere dem i følgende mappe.

C:\Steam\SteamApps\SourceMods

Neste gang du åpner "My Games" listen, vil den stå listet under "Third Party Games."

Hvis oppdateringer for dine tredjeparts MODs blir tilgjenglige, må du installere dem manuelt.

Hvis du får en feilmelding om at din client.dll er forskjellig fra serveren ("your client.dll is different from the server"), er dette en indikasjon på at du kanskje må oppdatere din MOD.

For en liste med populære tredjeparts MODs som kjører under Steam, vennligst klikk "Browse Games" knappen i din Steam meny, og se på den tredje knappen: "Third Party Games".

If you have a Half-Life mod installed before installing Steam, Steam will automatically convert and install the game for you.

So for example, there will be folders (just a few example names):

• C:\Steam\SteamApps\<account>\half-life\aghl
• C:\Steam\SteamApps\<account>\half-life\bg
• C:\Steam\SteamApps\<account>\half-life\biglolly
• C:\Steam\SteamApps\<account>\half-life\firearms
• C:\Steam\SteamApps\<account>\half-life\underworld
• C:\Steam\SteamApps\<account>\half-life\valve

If you want to add a Half-Life mod after installing Steam, you need only to put it in the Steam/SteamApps/<account>/Half-Life directory.

For Half-Life 2 mods, you need to install them in the following directory.

C:\Steam\SteamApps\SourceMods

The next time you open the "My Games" list, it will be listed under "Third Party Games."

If updates for your 3rd party MODs become available, you will need to manually install the updates.

If you get an error about your client.dll is different from the server, this is a good indication that you might need to update your 3rd party MOD.

For a list of popular 3rd party MODs that will run under Steam, please click on the "Browse Games" tab in your Steam menu, then look at the third tab: "Third Party Games".
