Steam Support will not request your Steam account password for any reason, nor will you ever be asked to enter your Steam account password into a website form. This issue may be caused by a custom GUI (Graphical User Interface) breaking after a game update. If you suspect this is the case, try removing or re-installing your custom GUI. This issue may also be the result of admin slowhacking. Slowhacking refers to a server administrator maliciously altering the game configuration files on a client's computer. For more information about how to resolve slowhack issues and protect yourself against slowhacking, please refer to the Game Problem: Admin Slowhacking topic. If you are not using a custom GUI, you will need to set your game configuration back to the defaults from the game options menu (under Keyboard click the Use Defaults button) and see if the text is visible the next time you play.
