Steam Support will not request your Steam account password for any reason, nor will you ever be asked to enter your Steam account password into a website form.
A DXDIAG report can be generated by Windows to provide general system information (which can be helpful in diagnosing problems running Steam, or individual games).
Please follow these steps to run a DXDIAG report if one is requested by Steam Support:
- Go to the Start button
- Select Run...
- Enter "dxdiag" and click OK
- Once the report has been generated, click Save all information to save a copy of the report
