Error: Missing Files

If you receive an error referencing missing files when attempting to load Call of Duty, please set your Steam language to English, exit and restart both the game and Steam, and then set your Steam language to the desired language and restart Steam to obtain the necessary files.

Error: Couldn't load default.cfg. Make sure Call of Duty is run from the correct folder.

This issue will occur if your Steam language is set to a language which the game does not support. Please set your Steam language to English, French, German, or Italian to play.
