Steam Support will not request your Steam account password for any reason, nor will you ever be asked to enter your Steam account password into a website form.

If you get this error, you need to restart Steam, let Steam update and then restart your installer again.

Steam will rename and update the missing files and your installation should continue normally.

Make sure you install both HL2 and CS:Source (not just HL2).
