Windows XP

  1. Click butonul Start si selectati Run.
  2. Tastati msconfig si dati click Ok.

  7. Odata restartat, daca apare fereastra de configurare a sistemului, inchideti-o. Selectati No daca sunteti atentionat sa restartati.

Daca computerul dumneavoastra este setat pentru un Start Selectiv, efectuati urmatoarele:

  1. Click pe tabul Startup de sus.
  2. Creati o nota a tuturor itemurilor care au eticheta next asociata.
  3. Dati click Disable all.
  4. Click tabul Services si marcati serviciile Microsoft Hide all.
  5. Creati o nota a tuturor serviciilor care au o eticheta asociata.
  6. Dati click Disable all.
  7. Click Apply si click Close.
  8. Restartati computerul cand sunteti atentionat.
  9. Odata restartat, daca apare fereastra de configurare a sistemului, inchideti-o. Selectati No daca sunteti atentionat sa restartati.

Daca programul ruleaza fara probleme atunci puteti trage concluzia ca o parte din aplicatiile ce ruleaza in fundal creeau probleme.

Pentru identificarea programului care intra in conflict cu programul, urmati pasii de mai jos:

Pentru gasirea serviciului ce intra in conflict cu programul urmati metoda incercare-eroare.

  1. Click Start, apoi Run, tastati msconfig si apoi click Ok.
  2. Dati click pe tabul Startup si apoi click Enable all. Daca computerul era in Start Selectiv activat, itemurile corespund cu cele notate mai devreme.
  3. Dati click pe tabul Services, si marcati optiunea Hide all Microsoft Services
  4. Click Enable all. Daca computerul era in Start Selectiv activat, itemurile corespund cu serviciile notate mai devreme.
  5. Debifati unul dintre serviciile din lista.
  6. Click Apply, apoi Close si restartati computerul cand sunteti atentionat.
  7. Jucati jocul si testati performanta.
    • Daca problema a fost rezolvata, serviciul dezactivat mai sus (pasul 5) este cauza problemei. Pentru a juca jocul va trebui sa dezactivati acest software.
    • Daca problema nu a fost inca rezolvata, atunci debifati alt serviciu din lista si repetati pasii 1 la 7.

Daca problema persista verificati itemurile din Start up, care ar putea intra in conflict cu jocul.

Pentru a determina itemul Startup ce intra in conflict:

  1. Click Start, apoi Run, tastati msconfig si apoi Ok.
  2. Dati click pe tabul Services si apoi click Enable all. Daca computerul era in Start Selectiv activat, itemurile corespund cu serviciile notate mai devreme.
  3. Click tabul Startup apoi click Enable all. Daca computerul era in Start Selectiv activat, itemurile corespund cu cele notate mai devreme.
  4. Debifati unul din intemurile startup din lista.
  5. Click Apply , apoi Close si click Restart
  6. Jucati jocul si testati performanta. Daca problema nu mai apare, aceasta confirma ca serviciul particular ce ruleaza pe sistem cauzeaza problema.
    1. Daca problema continua, bifati itemul startup debifat la incercarea precedenta.
    2. Debifati alt item startup si repetati pasii 1 la 5.

Daca pasii de mai sus nu va ajuta in rezolvarea problemei, urmati pasii de mai jos pentru inversarea schimbarilor efectuate in System Configuration Utility (msconfig):

  1. Click Start, apoi Run, si tastati msconfig apoi click Ok.
  2. Dati click pe tabul Startup apoi click Enable all. Daca computerul era in Start Selectiv activat, itemurile corespund cu serviciile notate mai devreme.
  3. Click pe tabul Services, si bifati optiunea Hide all Microsoft Services
  4. Dati click Enable all sau activati itemurile care corespund cu cele notate mai devreme.
  5. Click Apply, apoi Close.
  6. Restartati computerul cand sunteti atentionat.

Pentru Windows 2000

  1. Tineti apasate tastele Ctrl si Alt
  2. Apasati scurt Delete, apoi eliberati si celelate taste.
  3. Dati click pe butonul numit Task Manager.
  4. Dati click pe tabul Applications de sus.
  5. Pentru fiecare item listat:
    1. Dati click pe item pentru a-l selecta.
    2. Click End Task.
    3. Repetati pasii de mai sus pana la eliberarea listei.
  6. Inchideti fereastra Windows Task Manager.

Background applications can affect the performance of the game on your computer. Unnecessary background applications can cause:

  • Slow performance.
  • Errors during the installation.
  • Issues with Audio/Video in the game.
  • Error messages.

To resolve the issue, we suggest you close all the un-necessary background applications and then try playing the game. Use the following instructions to disable the background applications:

Note: The following procedure is a temporary troubleshooting step used to disable the non-Microsoft services, which may include security programs like antivirus and firewall programs. To revert the changes made follow the steps documented at the end of the article. While the steps provided below are descriptive, we recommend you contact your system administrator before following the steps listed.

Windows XP

  1. Click Start Button and select Run.
  2. Type msconfig and click Ok.
  • If your computer is in Normal Startup do the following:
  1. Click the button that says Selective Startup.
  2. Uncheck the box that says Load Startup items (or Load Startup Group items)
  3. Click the Services tab and check Hide all Microsoft services.
  4. Click Disable all.
  5. Click Apply and click Close.
  6. Restart the computer when prompted.
  7. Once restarted, if the system configuration window appears, close the window. Select No to restarting if prompted.


If your computer is set for Selective Startup do the following:

  1. Click the Startup tab at the top.
  2. Make a note of the items that have checkmarks next to them.
  3. Click Disable all.
  4. Click the Services tab and check Hide all Microsoft services.
  5. Make a note of the services that have checkmarks next to them.
  6. Click Disable all.
  7. Click Apply and click Close.
  8. Restart the computer when prompted.
  9. Once restarted, if the system configuration window appears, close the window. Select No to restarting if prompted.

If the program is working fine then it can be concluded that some of the background applications running in the system were causing the issue.

To identify the program that is conflicting with the program follow the steps given below:

To find the service conflicting with the program follow this trial and error method.

  1. Click Start, click Run, type msconfig and click Ok.
  2. Click the Startup tab and click Enable all. If the computer was in Selective startup enable the items that correspond to the items noted earlier.
  3. Click the Services tab, check the option Hide all Microsoft Services
  4. Click Enable all. If the computer was in Selective startup enable the items that correspond to the services noted earlier.
  5. Uncheck one of the services from the list.
  6. Click Apply, click Close and restart the computer when prompted.
  7. Play the game and test the performance.
    • If the issue is resolved, the service disabled above (step 5) is the cause of the issue. To play the game you will have to disable this software.
    • If the issue is still unresolved then uncheck a different service from the list and repeat steps 1 to 7.


If issue is still not resolved check for Start up item, which may be conflicting with the game.

To find the Startup item is conflicting:

  1. Click Start, click Run, type msconfig and click Ok.
  2. Click the Services tab and click Enable all. If the computer was in Selective startup enable the items that correspond to the services noted earlier.
  3. Click the Startup tab and click on Enable All. If the computer was in Selective startup enable the items that correspond to the items noted earlier
  4. Uncheck one of the startup items from the list.
  5. Click Apply, click Close and click Restart
  6. Play the game and test the performance. If the issue doesn't occur, this confirms that the particular service running on the system is causing issue.
    1. If the issue occurs, check the startup item unchecked in previous attempt.
    2. Uncheck another startup item and repeat the steps 1 to 5.


If the above steps don't help to resolve the issue, follow the steps given below to, revert the changes made in System Configuration Utility (msconfig):

  1. Click Start, click Run, type msconfig and click Ok.
  2. Click the Startup tab and click Enable all. If the computer was in Selective startup enable the items that correspond to the services noted earlier.
  3. Click the Services tab, check the option Hide all Microsoft Services
  4. Click Enable all or enable the items that correspond to the items noted earlier.
  5. Click Apply, click Close.
  6. Restart the computer when prompted.


For Windows 2000

  1. Hold down the Ctrl and Alt keys on the keyboard.
  2. Briefly press Delete and then release the other keys.
  3. Click the button that says Task Manager.
  4. Click the Applications tab at the top.
  5. For each item listed in the task list:
    1. Click the item to select it.
    2. Click End Task.
    3. Repeat the above steps until the task list is empty.
  6. Close the Windows Task Manager screen.
