Procedura de resetare a unui CD key

Dacă aţi cumpărat recent o copie a unui joc care trebuie să fie activat pe Steam si aveţi eroarea “Duplicate CD Key “ (CD key duplicat) trebuie să ne contactaţi pentru a vă reseta CD keyul .

Notă: Nu putem să resetam CD keyuri care au fost interzise din cauza violarilor Inţelegerii Abonatului Steam (Steam Subscriber Agreement si/sau End User License Agreement)sau infracţiunilor cu hackuri .Daca CD-keyul urmeaza modelul ##### - ##### - ##### - ##### - ##### atunci trebuie să aveţi o copie a chitanţei cumpărării pentru a vă reseta CD-keyul.

CD keyuri pentru Sierra Half-Life, Counter-Strike si Blue Shift

CD-keyuri mai vechi (Sierra Half-Life, Counter-Strike, si Blue Shift) sunt printate in urmatorul format:

Dacă CD keyul nu urmează acest model (4 numere -5 numere – 4 numere) ,vă rugăm să mergeţi jos la secţiunea Oricare alte CD-keyuri. Dacă CD-keyul urmează modelul #### - ##### - #### si sunteţi sigur că nu l-aţi inregistrat pe Steam in trecut , vă rugăm să ne trimiteţi (prin poşta) următoarele lucruri:

CD-keyul original printat - nu copieri , fotografii sau scanări ale CD Keyului –acestea nu vor fi acceptate . Va rugăm să trimiteţi doar CD Keyul - nu trimiteţi cutia jocului sau CD-urile.
O copie completată a Cererii de resetare a CD-keyului (nu trebuie să completaţi randurile unde nu aveţi informaţii complete).

O fotocopie a chitanţei de cumpărare a jocului dacă acesta a fost cumpărat in ultimele 90 de zile (vă rugăm să incercuiţi titlul jocului pe fotografie dacă sunt mai multe lucruri pe chitanţa
Dacă nu aveţi o copie a chitanţei , vă rugăm să includeţi un cec pentru Valve Corporation de 10.00 USD (zece dolari in Unitated State Funds ) pentru a plăti taxa de resetare .

Daca CD keyul urmeaza unul din aceste modele, va rugam sa vedeţi Contactarea ajutorului tehnic Valve si informaţii legate de plaţi pentru instrucţiuni legate de crearea unei cereri de ajutor tehnic si de trimiterea urmatoarelor lucruri:

Un scan sau o poza digitala a CD-keyului cu cuvintele Reset To si numele contului Steam scris in cerneala permanenta pe sticker sau carte de referinta (fara sa obstructionati CD-keyul)
Un scan sau poza digitala a licenţei de cumparare retail (jocul trebuie sa fi fost cumparat in ultimele 90 de zile – nu acceptam chitanţe de la siteuri de licitaţii sau daca un individ a re-vandut jocul)
Numele contului Steam la care vreţi sa fie mutat CD-keyul

Exemplu de Scan al CD-keyului

Va rugam sa vedeţi exemplul de mai jos pentru a va da seama cum trebuie sa fie notata imaginea .Va rugam sa scrieti numele contului dumneavoastra (in exemplu numele contului este “support” – sau numarul cererii de ajutor tehnic (trebuie sa trimiteti o cerere in acest sens , scrieti numarul cererii pe CD-key si apoi updatati cererea cu scanul daca nu sunteti sigur ne numele contului dumneavoastra ) . Daca nu aveţi acces la un scanner sau camera foto digitala , trebuie sa urmaţi paşii de resetare descrişi mai sus pentru Half-Life, Counter-Strike şi Blue-Shift (nu trebuie sa includeţi 10.00 USD pentru taxa ) .

Important Note

A CD Key may only be registered to one Steam account. CD Keys are associated with your Steam Account, not your computer.

Please see the Contacting VALVe Billing and Support article for instructions to retrieve your lost Steam account if it is possible that you may have registered your CD Key in the past.

CD Key Reset Process Guidelines

If you recently purchased a copy of a game which requires activation on Steam and are encountering a "Duplicate CD Key" error message you will need to contact us to have the CD Key reset so you may use it.

Note: We cannot reset CD Keys which have been disabled for violations of the Steam Subscriber Agreement and/or End User License Agreement or banned by VAC for cheating infractions. If your CD Key matches the ##### - ##### - ##### - ##### - ##### pattern you must have a copy of your recent purchase receipt to have the CD Key reset.

Sierra Half-Life, Counter-Strike, and Blue Shift CD Keys

Older CD Keys (Sierra Half-Life, Counter-Strike, and Blue Shift CD Keys) are printed in the following format:

#### - ##### - ####

If your CD Key does not match the pattern (4 numbers - 5 numbers - 4 numbers), please skip down to the All Other CD Keys section.

If your CD Key matches the #### - ##### - #### pattern and you are certain that you have not registered it over Steam in the past, please mail the following items to us for review:

The original printed CD Key - no copies, photos or scans of the CD Key will be accepted. Please send only the CD Key - do not send the game box or game CDs
A completed copy of the CD Key Reset Form (you do not need to complete any fields which you do not have the information to complete)
A photocopy of your receipt for the purchase of the game if the game was purchased within the last 90 days (please circle the game title on the photocopy if there are multiple items on the receipt)
If you do not have a copy of your receipt for the recent purchase of the game, please include a money order or bank cashier check made out to Valve Corporation for $10.00 USD (ten dollars in United States funds) to pay the CD Key Reset Service Charge

Please print out the completed CD Key Reset Form (do not print out an incomplete copy and fill in the fields by hand). Specify the use of any numbers in the names or email accounts. For instance, "B0B" has the number zero in it; you would need to point this out to us.

Your CD Key will be sent back to you via US Mail once it has been reset. Please allow 6 to 8 weeks for the materials to be mailed back.

Note: You do not need to wait to receive your CD Key from us to make use of the subscription on your Steam account – you will be sent an e-mail regarding the status of your CD Key reset request when your request is received and processed.

All Other CD Keys

Current CD Keys are comprised of 18 numbers and letters (Prey) or 25 numbers and letters (Valve games) arranged into five groups of five characters separated by hyphens:

Prey example:

Valve game example:

1AB2C-D3FGH-456I7-JK8LM-NOP9Q

If your CD Key fits one of these patterns, please see the Contacting VALVe Billing and Support article for instructions to create a support case to provide the following materials:

A scan or digital photo of the CD Key with the words Reset To and your Steam account username written in permanent ink on the reference card or sticker (without obscuring the CD Key)
A scan or digital photo of your retail purchase receipt (game must have been purchased within the last 90 days - we do not accept receipts from auction sites or in cases in which the game has been resold by another individual)
The Steam account username you would like the CD Key moved to

CD Key Scan Example

Please see the example below to see how your CD Key image should be sized and noted. Please write your account name - in the example you will see the account name "support" - or your support incident number (you will need to submit your incident, write your incident number on the CD Key, and then update your case with the scan if you are not sure of your account name). If you do not have access to a scanner or digital camera, you may complete the CD Key reset process described for Half-Life, Counter-Strike, and Blue Shift CD Keys which is outlined above (you do not need to include $10.00 USD for the CD Key Reset Service Charge).
