Notes

1. * You must have DirectX 9c installed - even with older cards - in order to play Sourcegine games
2. ** Once games have been installed and authenticated, they may be played offline (without an internet connection).
3. *** A Sony SecuROM-compatible CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive is required for retail package installations - games purchased through Steam do not require a CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive
4. **** If you do not have a soundcard installed, you will need to specify the "-nosound" option in the launch options for Source games (this may be done by right-clicking on the game in the "My Games" tab and going to "Properties" and clicking the "Set launch options..." button)
5. The Half-Life 2 Retail Collector's edition requires a DVD-ROM drive for installation
6. Half-Life 2 retail bundles require at least 9 GB of free hard drive space
