Guide: Enabling and Disabling Dynamic Weapon Pricing

Dynamic Weapon Pricing is enabled by default for Counter-Strike: Source servers.

If you wish to disable Dynamic Weapon Pricing, you must do so at the time the server is loaded. You cannot turn off Dynamic Weapon Pricing once the server has launched a game.

1. Open the server.cfg file located under your Steam installation directory in the \SteamApps\<account username>\counter-strike source\cstrike\cfg\ subdirectory (if this file does not exist, create a new text file and rename it to server.cfg)
2. Add mp_dynamicpricing "0" to the server.cfg file on a new line
3. Save your changes and start a new listen server to test

To turn Dynamic Weapon Pricing back on, you may delete the line which contains mp_dynamicpricing "0" from your server.cfg file.
