Meldung "Doppelter CD-Key" oder CD-Key-Transfer bzw. CD-Key zurücksetzen

Ein CD-Key kann nur auf einem einzigen STEAM-Account registriert werden.

CD-Key-Rücksetzvorgang

Falls Sie ein Spiel gekauft haben und Sie möchten es gerne auf Ihrem STEAM-Account aktivieren, erhalten jedoch eine Fehlermeldung, dass der CD-Key bereits auf einem anderen Account registriert ist, dann sollten Sie uns kontaktieren, um den CD-Key zurücksetzen zu lassen und ihn wieder registrieren zu können.

BITTE BEACHTEN SIE: Wir können keinerlei CD-Keys zurücksetzen die auf einem Account registriert waren, der aufgrund eines VAC-Banns oder einer Verletzung des STEAM-Nutzungsvertrags deaktiviert wurde. Sollte Ihr CD-Key ein 5x5 Key sein (*****-*****-*****-*****-*****), dann benötigen wir von Ihnen eine Einkaufsquittung, die innerhalb der letzten 90 Tage datiert ist, um den CD-Key zurückzusetzen.'

Abhängig vom CD-Key und dem verbundenen STEAM-Abonnement kann Ihnen das STEAM-Support Team entweder sofort weiterhelfen (folgen Sie dann bitte dem Link am Ende dieses Artikels für Details) oder es kann nötig sein, dass Sie den original CD-Key per Post an uns einsenden.

Wichtig: Wir können keine CD-Keys zurücksetzen, die wegen Verletzung des STEAM Nutzungsvertrags (STEAM Subscriber Agreement) und/oder der Lizenzbestimmungen (End User License) deaktiviert oder wegen Cheat-Verstößen von VAC gebannt wurden.

Falls Ihr CD-Key kein 4-5-4 CD-Key ist (4 Nummern - 5 Nummern - 4 Nummern), dann überspringen Sie folgenden Absatz und lesen Sie bitte unter "Alle anderen Valve CD-Keys und Prey CD-Keys" weiter.

CD-Keys von Sierra Half-Life, Counter-Strike und Blue Shift

CD Keys von Sierra Half-Life, Counter-Strike und Blue Shift wurden in folgendem Format gedruckt: #### - ##### - ####

Sollten Sie einen 4-5-4 CD-Key besitzen und diesen Key bisher NICHT registriert haben, jedoch erhalten Sie die Fehlermeldung, dass der CD-Key schon im Gebrauch ist, dann senden Sie und bitte per Post folgendes:

• Den original CD-Key - Kopien, Fotos oder Scans werden nicht akzeptiert. Bitte senden Sie nur den CD-Key - Senden Sie keine Spieleverpackungen oder Spiele-CDs.
• Eine ausgefüllte Kopie des CD-Key-Rücksetzformulars. Bitte füllen Sie dieses Formular erst aus, bevor Sie es drucken: CD Key Reset Formular

– Sie müssen die Felder zu denen Sie keine Informationen haben nicht ausfüllen. 

• Eine Kopie des Kaufbelegs für das Spiel, falls das Spiel innerhalb der letzten 90 Tagen gekauft wurde (bitte machen Sie auf dem Foto einen Kreis um den Spieletitel, falls aus dem Kaufbeleg mehrere Posten aufgeführt sind).

Sollten Sie das Spiel nicht innerhalb der letzten 90 Tage gekauft haben, dann legen Sie bitte als CD-Key-Rücksetzgebühr eine Zahlungsanweisung oder einen Verrechnungsscheck in Höhe von $10.00 US-Dollar bei.

Ihr CD-Key wird per US-Mail an Sie zurückgesendet werden, sobald er zurückgesetzt wurde. Bis zur Rücksendung des CD-Keys kann es 6 bis 8 Wochen dauern.

Beachten Sie jedoch: Sie müssen nicht warten, bis Sie Ihren CD-Key von uns erhalten, um das Spiel auf Ihrem STEAM-Account zu spielen - Sie werden von uns umgehend per E-Mail eine Nachricht zum erfolgreichen Zurücksetzen Ihres CD-Keys erhalten und können dann sofort Ihren Account für dieses Spiel benutzen.

Wollen Sie einen 18 stelligen Prey CD-Key oder einen 5x5 CD-Key eines VALVe Spiels registrieren:

und erhalten obige Fehlermeldung, dann folgen Sie bitte diesem Link, um das VALVe Support Team zu kontaktieren und senden Sie uns bitte folgende Beilagen/Attachments mit Ihrer Anfrage:

• Ein Scan oder ein Foto des original CD-Keys
• Ein Scan oder ein Foto Ihrer Einkaufsquittung (Das Spiel muss innerhalb der letzten 90 Tage gekauft worden sein und wir können leider keine Quittungen von Auktions-Seiten (eBay) oder von Privatpersonen akzeptieren!)
• Den STEAM Accountnamen, zu dem Sie das Spiel gerne transferiert haben möchten

Falls Sie keinen Zugang zu einem Scanner oder einer Digitalkamera haben, können Sie den CD-Key-Rücksetzprozess auch für alle anderen CD-Keys durchführen (Sie müssen dann jedoch keine $10.00 USD als CD-Key-Rücksetzgebühr beilegen).

Important Note

A CD Key may only be registered to one Steam account. CD Keys are associated with your Steam Account, not your computer.

Please see the Contacting VALVe Billing and Support article for instructions to retrieve your lost Steam account if it is possible that you may have registered your CD Key in the past.

CD Key Reset Process Guidelines

If you recently purchased a copy of a game which requires activation on Steam and are encountering a "Duplicate CD Key" error message you will need to contact us to have the CD Key reset so you may use it.

Note: We cannot reset CD Keys which have been disabled for violations of the Steam Subscriber Agreement and/or End User License Agreement or banned by VAC for cheating infractions. If your CD Key matches the ##### - ##### - ##### - ##### - ##### pattern you must have a copy of your recent purchase receipt to have the CD Key reset.

Sierra Half-Life, Counter-Strike, and Blue Shift CD Keys

Older CD Keys (Sierra Half-Life, Counter-Strike, and Blue Shift CD Keys) are printed in the following format:

If your CD Key does not match the pattern (4 numbers - 5 numbers - 4 numbers), please skip down to the All Other CD Keys section.

If your CD Key matches the #### - ##### - #### pattern and you are certain that you have not registered it over Steam in the past, please mail the following items to us for review:

1. The original printed CD Key - no copies, photos or scans of the CD Key will be accepted. Please send only the CD Key - do not send the game box or game CDs
2. A completed copy of the CD Key Reset Form (you do not need to complete any fields which you do not have the information to complete)
3. A photocopy of your receipt for the purchase of the game if the game was purchased within the last 90 days (please circle the game title on the photocopy if there are multiple items on the receipt)
4. If you do not have a copy of your receipt for the recent purchase of the game, please include a money order or bank cashier check made out to Valve Corporation for $10.00 USD (ten dollars in United States funds) to pay the CD Key Reset Service Charge

Please print out the completed CD Key Reset Form (do not print out an incomplete copy and fill in the fields by hand). Specify the use of any numbers in the names or email accounts. For instance, "B0B" has the number zero in it; you would need to point this out to us.

Your CD Key will be sent back to you via US Mail once it has been reset. Please allow 6 to 8 weeks for the materials to be mailed back.

Note: You do not need to wait to receive your CD Key from us to make use of the subscription on your Steam account – you will be sent an e-mail regarding the status of your CD Key reset request when your request is received and processed.

All Other CD Keys

Current CD Keys are comprised of 18 numbers and letters (Prey) or 25 numbers and letters (Valve games) arranged into five groups of five characters separated by hyphens:

If your CD Key fits one of these patterns, please see the Contacting VALVe Billing and Support article for instructions to create a support case to provide the following materials:

• A scan or digital photo of the CD Key
• A scan or digital photo of your retail purchase receipt (game must have been purchased within the last 90 days - we do not accept receipts from auction sites or in cases in which the game has been resold by another individual)
• The Steam account username you would like the CD Key moved to

Please see the example below to see how your CD Key image should be sized and noted. Please write your account name - in the example you will see the account name "support" - or your support incident number (you will need to submit your incident, write your incident number on the CD Key, and then update your case with the scan if you are not sure of your account name). If you do not have access to a scanner or digital camera, you may complete the CD Key reset process described for Half-Life, Counter-Strike, and Blue Shift CD Keys which is outlined above (you do not need to include $10.00 USD for the CD Key Reset Service Charge).
