Game Problem: Mouse lag in Codename Gordon

You can control the detail level in the options when you run the program ... If you are having problems, set the graphics to least detail and turn off the music.

Look in the middle-right side of the options screen for the other options to change.

With GFX-Detail set to "low" the mouse lag should be gone.

Start with the least amount of detail and make sure it works well, then increase it if you want.

Also, make sure your DirectX graphics and Sounds options are all accelerated: start > run > DXDIAG

You can also improve performance by setting XP to "best performance": control panel > system > advanced > performance > adjust for best performance

You can also try disabling System Restore temporarily and see if that changes your symptoms.
